Blog Three: My Definition of Unit.

Teamwork (Unity- Unit)

Step One: Unit
  • Common Goal: (Kingdom fight; Long-term wellness; Empowering people with hope)
  • “Oneness”
  • Cannot easily be broken

Step Two: Individual
  • Pursue excellence through personal goals in long-term wellness
  • Know your identity
  • Know/Accept gifts, skills, abilities, personality, strength/weakness, and roles on team

Step Three: Interaction
  • Common sense says you know what NOT to do, instead look at what DO you do.
  • 1) Never lose sight of the goal
  • 2) Observe with perspective (not quick judgment)
  • 3) Listen (not just hear)
  • 4) Communicate with intent (verbally/non-verbally)
  • 5) Be flexible WITH a good attitude

Step Four: Overall
  • A team (aka unit) is made up of specific vital necessary individual roles that all need to learn to work together as “one” (ie: piano, rubix cube)
  • Unit done RIGHT = a bond that is nearly unbreakable

Step Five: Competition with other Companies
  • Place where we can be truly “one” unit- intellectual, mental, physical, spiritual, etc BECAUSE we have the spiritual aspect (In my opinion, the most important), companies cannot compete with that unbreakable bond.
  • I personally like the competition of that- “winning” not losing
